About the program

A3i – LEAP, taking your company to the next level

A3i - LEAP is an exclusive program for 6 market ready companies that are ready to take their transformative assistive technologies to the world.
This is way beyond an accelerator.

During A3i-LEAP, each team will be guided by a tailored group of professionals from PresenTense and Bet Issie Shapiro as well expert mentors from the industry. Over 4 months, we will provide you with a boost in your go-to-market efforts, research and regulation strategy, finance and funding processes + and other areas that are key to your success - as you define them.

Who is the program for?
We are looking for transformative assistive technology companies with full time teams and real traction. CEO’s and co-founders will be expected to commit to attending weekly group meetings + engage with professionals and mentors that are provided by the program.

Program components
1) Weekly group meetings of CEO’s and Co-founders of all the startups. During these meetings we will cover matters relevant to the entire group, and develop a support framework. Topics will include:
  • Customer led development and business model canvas
  • Exposure to target populations and disability/AT professionals
  • Go-to-market strategies, including links to international companies and agencies
  • Financing options
  • Clinical research best-practices
  • Strengthening entrepreneurial capacity and sharing dilemmas

2) Individual track covering the following (partial list):
  • Deep-dive needs analysis
  • Key Performance Indicators: defining 2-3 significant and tangible targets for each company to achieve as a result of the program
  • Appointment of specialized mentoring team
  • Work with product design and Assistive Technology implementation specialists
  • Pilot/Beta site facilitation
  • Business development plan formation
  • Preparation for financing round

Timetable
  • July and August: applications and interviews
  • September to December: acceleration period of group meetings and individual meetings
  • End of December: final event
