At A3i we nurture and support innovative hi-tech entrepreneurs developing solutions that address the needs of people with disabilities and improve their quality of life.
During the intensive 4-month accelerator, entrepreneurs receive professional training, mentoring, one-on-one consulting, and community engagement. At the end of the program, the entrepreneurs present their ventures to the public.

About the program
Sessions take place twice per week, in the afternoon, for 12 weeks. The first session includes seminars and lectures, and the second session is devoted to individual and group work, and professional consulting.
The accelerator includes the following elements:

Professional seminars and lectures - Providing theoretical and practical knowledge and tools for the entrepreneurial process. Formulating a vision, familiarity with the target audience, environmental research, writing an executive summary, building a website, marketing plan, business model and much more . You will enjoy lectures from leading professional experts in the business world and assistive technology field, as well as meet with experienced entrepreneurs who will share their personal experiences along the way.

Connection to pilots and assistance in the implementation and integration process - Direct connections with experts and knowledge bases at Beit Issie Shapiro; assistance in implementing technology among various target audiences; connections to opinion leaders in the disability field, hospitals and rehabilitation institutes, relevant organizations and leading companies in the field of disabilities and assistive technology for piloting and a direct connection to the market.

Professional guidance and consultation - Every entrepreneur receoves a wide range of professional one-on-one consultations in business development, law, patents and IP, assistance in applying to the Chief Scientist Office and other funds, connections to the Welfare and Health Ministries, Israel's Social Security Institute, and much more.

Personal Mentor - Personal guidance from a professional mentor specializing in business development. The mentor accompanies the entrepreneur at the strategic level and throughout the development process.

Launch Night - The Accelerator ends with a festive Demo Day where the ventures pitch their projects to the wider assistive technology community and the public. Hundreds of people are invited, including VC's and private investors, officials from Welfare and Health Ministries, Chief Scientist Office, and Social Security Institute, leading organizations in the field of assistive technology, as well as professional partners and accelerator funders.
